We had to host a party for 22 people and had Oliva Wood fired pizza cater the event. The appetizers, salad, pizzas and home made breads were fresh and very tasteful Would like to recommend this caterer to everybody. It's a delicious option for a great evening and it's something different to have a wood fired oven at the house to see them prepare the pizza. And the leftovers are even better... "Someone to recommend! Nicolas Barengo and his "Oliva Wood-Fired Pizza" crew.
We recently threw a party for 40 people at our own house. The guests were from many different parts of the world (Italy, Germany, Spain, Ireland, France, India) and the US as well. The party was a true success. The Oliva Wood-Fired Pizza" crew arrived in time and they set up their oven and cooking table in my back-yard in a very neat way. Their waiters were extremely polite, quick and smooth. They even had a waiter with a license to serve alcohol (which we needed) who made sure everyone's cup was full all the time. Their chef (Nicolas Barengo) was very approachable and seemed to truly enjoy answering the guests' questions about his pizzas. But the very best was, of course, their pizzas!! To the point that our Italian guests were happily surprised. The dough was just perfect, and the different combinations of toppings were just unique.  Another plus was that the chef was quite flexible when we discussed the toppings before the party and his suggestions ended up being outstanding"

They catered a party for 100 guests at my house on Friday, and they did a fantastic job! Nicolas Barengo and his group came to the house with the Pizza Oven, and setup a beautiful serving buffet (including a cute chalkboard that listed the pizzas being served and what was on them). It was like our own outdoor pizza cafe! They also served all of the appetizers, which were so good (the crostini trio, zucchini rolls and hummus were especially delicious!). "Nico catered my son's high school graduation party yesterday, and he was a hit! Everyone raved about how delicious the pizza was, and his vegetable appetizers were so fresh. I am a salad lover, and Nico made delicious Greek salad per my special request. I had several servings of it!
We had 5 different kinds of pizza, so there was something for everyone and we had guests spanning ages 2-72. The pear pizza was especially unique and yummy. Nico was awesome to work with, and even though rain was imminent, he was prepared and not worried. All of his staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was cleaned promptly after the party so we were able to relax. Many of my friends plan to use Nico in the near future for their events as they were thoroughly impressed. A good friend of mine got married and had a backyard wedding. These guys catered it for approximately 100 ppl and did an incredible job. Everyone got fed, there was always pizza out and most importantly the pizza was absolutely phenomenal. People running it were lovely authentic Italians and very nice. We had Oliva Pizza for our backyard wedding and it was such a HIT!!! Nico and his staff made the party and we are still getting texts from guests asking where to find him next & that he has the BEST pizza in town! Nico and his crew catered a party at our home for 75 patrons of a performing arts organization and it was a spectacular success. We chose to have Oliva cater the party based in large part on their customer reviews, and they exceeded our expectations on every count. The pizzas themselves were the stars of the party. Nico makes traditional Neapolitan pizzas that are unique and delicious, and inventive without being weird. It was really gratifying to feel the buzz in the crown when the pizzas starting coming out. Nico catered a couples shower I hosted this past weekend and he did an amazing job. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. Nico catered an event for me last weekend and did a fantastic job. The pizza was phenomenal (I was a little nervous because I did not sample it before)! Even the attendees from New York raved that the pizza was as good as that back home. Nico was professional and made sure the entire night flowed perfectly. His team set up in front of my town home and hauled pizzas upstairs all evening. Even though they were constantly bringing pizzas in because they were getting devoured so quickly, Nico an his team never interrupted the party. I will definitely use them again.
